Data Communication

Electronic data interchange (EDI) is the computer-to-computer transfer of data in a standard format allowing information to be exchanged quickly and efficiently. A one-time input of information eliminates excess work and the potential for data entry error while saving both time and money. Electra Supply has been sending and receiving EDI documents since 1998. As of August 2006, we have reduced costs further by replacing the VAN (Value Added Network) with the internet. We are capable of sending and receiving most EDI documents.
